Tzannes Associates designed L-shaped house building off-form concrete structure with reverse brick-veneer walls, timber cladding externally and aluminium windows and doors, the Clovelly Residence in Sydney, Australia.

Description from the architects: The residence follows an L-shape to maximise solar access, natural ventilation and aspect as well as utilising energy efficiency by including 3 water tanks, sun control louvres and shutters, natural ventilation, solar panels and photo-voltaic cells.
The building is an off-form concrete structure with reverse brick-veneer walls, timber cladding externally and aluminium windows and doors. Being set well below and back from street level and with a flat roof, the overall scale of the building is minimised with new landscaped courtyards and pool terraces capturing the northerly aspect.
