BCV Architects has another design for modern condominium in San Francisco’s historic Jackson Square, its combine’s two units to create a gracious urban home for a family of four. The 40’ square main salon enjoys dramatic city views and is the social center of the home, serving as the living, dining and music room, as well as gallery for the family’s collection of photographs. The skylit kitchen features dramatic Wenge cabinetry and white marble countertops. Opposite, the persimmon walls of the library provide strong contrast to the subdued tones of the salon. The hallway functions as a long linear gallery featuring both works on paper and three dimensional objects.
