This modern private residence designed by Teeple Architects, the is located on a small urban site in downtown Toronto, overlooking a thickly treed ravine. These modern house called by “Heathdale House”. The house is tightly flanked by neighbouring homes, making the most of its oblong site, opening graciously to the revine view. The house is comprised of a series of stacked linear boxes. Shifts are created between the boxes to allow light and space to filter between the floors. A private “retreat” and small lap pool are part of the overall composition of indoor/outdoor spaces. Designed by Teeple Architects.
