Modern minimalist style of these beach house designed by Marcus O’Reilly Architects. Structure above the stage and the light in the temperate climate. Catching sun and views from a large elevated deck, this beach house has many typical local features. It has sandstone base walling, weatherboard construction, is up on stilts, has a skillion roof form, ti tree stakes, stainless steel wire balustrade, and a ‘hole punched’ galvanised steel – sided timber stair all combining to give an informal air to this new take on an old theme.
