This wonderful interior design a typical ranch style home on the east side designed by Vandeventer & Carlander Architects. The new interior, rich in material and subtle in detail, achieves a wonderful contrast to the mock traditionalism of its near past. The interior is an interplay rich Brazilian cherry floors and cabinets against clean unadorned walls. From the entry, the main hallway connecting the opposite ends of the house was partially paneled in Brazilian cherry. This treatment unifies the interior visually, while not overwhelming the otherwise windowless hall. Extensive use of light hued limestone was used throughout as a contrast to the deep red tones of the cherry.
