Contemporary Interior Design of 160 Room Boutique Hotel in Historic Karkow
This cotemporary design interior of the 160 room boutique hotel is a striking presence, situated on square in historic Karkow.
The design is entirely contemporary, but makes subtle reference to the history of the locale. Flashes of saturated colour contrast with sophisticated natural materials. Sleek lines and well considered spaces create a calming but exhilarating environment.
The warm, textured stone of the reception contrast with reflective metallic shells enclosing the restaurant. Bars are lined with locally crafted stained glass set into warm timber.
In each bedroom a window of flame coloured raw silk connects the bathroom to the bedroom, contrasting with bolts of violet glass. Designed by Jestico + Whiles Architecture.
